Paula Patton

Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action thriller Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the film drama Precious. When she was a child she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was a skill she learned from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities and was especially interested in drama. Paula loved acting with friends and was a part of school-sponsored stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to perform in the high school and she chose acting as a profession. When she attended a camp for summer in the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. She received a 3-month contract to develop documentaries for PBS. Her first job was as a television production assistant following the completion of her three-month task. After that, she began producing documentaries. She was passionate about her work but her dream was to be an actress. She began her acting career by playing a minor role on the movie romantic comedy Hitch which she acted in with Will Smith. Since then, she's played in several well-known television and film shows.
