Kellie Martin is an American actress in television, film as well as stage actor. Her most famous role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". She is also known for being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin was born to an employee of a department store and an elementary school teacher. She began acting in the age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin to be an actor on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating from Yale University she began to take acting seriously and landed roles on the small screen and big. Martin as well as acting, she is also an accomplished photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Being a mom to two kids, she's become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus.
